Indian Bridal Jewelry & Trends!!

The most important event in every individual’s life is their Wedding Day. Every girl dreams of having the grandest wedding and jewelry forms a vital part of the overall attire of an Indian bride. Usually we see Indian brides wear jewelry sets that are made in gold, be it necklaces, bangles, anklets or earrings. But not many would like to be weighed down by heavy jewelry that cannot be worn often.

Now is the age of designer wear and costume jewelry and the modern bride makes certain that her jewelry must complement her outfit rather than just loading herself with heavy gold ornaments that often end up looking unappealing when teamed with a designer bridal wear. The traditional feel is of course present, but a lot of cross-culture fashion has seeped in.

The traditional style of wearing a heavy Choker set along with a big long necklace is no more. These days brides prefer a single necklace, be it a choker or a long necklace. Designers have started incorporating White gold, Platinum, and an array of different colored stones in their jewelry to be able to harmonize it with the bridal wear.

Traditional or contemporary, the focus however should remain in making the bride look elegant and beautiful.
